Mission of AET

The mission of AET is to serve the diverse population in our region by facilitating non-profit educational cable television programming that will provide our classrooms and community with instruction, information, and school activities.

Objectives of AET

• To offer educational programming of all levels to individuals in the Asheville community.
• To inform the Asheville community about the programs and courses of study available through the various educational institutions.
• To facilitate communication with parents, students, the general public, and among various educational institutions within the greater Asheville community.
• To provide a showcase for the work and talents of Asheville’s students at all levels of education.
• To provide an opportunity for participation in cable television by educational institutions and agencies outside the usual definition of public school, college and university.
